Cabin In The Woods
My fifth project for the Game A Week course during my second year of my Bachelors degree.
Week 5 Theme: Camera Work
Use WASD to control the character
For this project instead of making a game that revolves around using the game, i decided to create a small tech demo to showcase a fixed camera angle system that you would see in the older Resident Evil games.
Due to the short time limit and experimenting with fixed camera angles for the first time, trigging the next camera might feel janky. This will cause the player to flip around when entering a trigger zone as the player controller faces the direction of the in game camera. Meaning if the player is running forward and they enter one of these zones, they will pushed back into the previous zone.
There is no main objective to Cabin in the Woods, except for the player to just explore and find a way to escape the cabin.
